The ACLU seeks to be the place where people can come, no matter their political affiliation, to courageously take action and inspire those who want change to become those who make a change.

The ACLU fights nonstop attacks on immigrants’ rights, criminal justice reform, racial justice, LGBTQ rights, reproductive freedom, privacy rights, disability rights, and free speech. Their challenge is to stay relevant as a leader in the fight to make America more just, fair, and equitable. 

We the people take action on behalf of the constitutional rights granted to ALL Americans, regardless of who those individuals are. We advocate for difference, for our constitutional right to be who you are.

Americans have the right to be trans, to choose life, freedom, and equality. Our rights, granted by the constitution, unify and empower us all as individuals and to advocate for one another.
